Status Update!
Yes, it looks like the forums have finally bit the dust. The last time Dreamhost fixed the problem they said update your software or perish. We'll never perish but I'm not updating, yet. Eventually I may find the time to move us to a new version of something, we'll see.

Exit Stage Left...
From humble beginnings in the year 2000 by a ragtag group of posters from other forums the HARDCORE GAMING COMPOUND was born. And for that I thank all of you! Thanks for sticking with me for all the host and layout changes as well as the various restarts. Over the years we've seen just about everything on these forums from friendly productive discussions to some of the most heated battles ever and even some useful information tossed in for good measure. I've met some great people thru HGCX.com including some of my best friends, some worthy adversaries and everything inbetween.

GATHERING V: The Return! Wings and Beer Edition
We're getting the band back together again this summer! It's been 4 years since we've had an "official" Gathering. No it won't be as legendary as "renting" 3 TVs or involve gaming on a 100" screen but it will be just as fun if not more so. We've all changed and so has our Gathering needs.

Travel plans have been finalized. Awaiting on the arrival of the Cloud and the Snappa! Labor Day Weekend 2010.
